Volunteering
We need you!
Without our wonderful volunteers we could not run Crewe Heritage Centre. Whether you are looking for a regular role or something ad-hoc that fits in with the other things in your life, we have something for you. Please take a look at our current opportunities below.
The Benefits
By volunteering at the Heritage Centre you will have the chance to:
Meet new people
Gain new skills
Build your CV
Have fun!
You will also have free access to the Heritage Centre when you are not volunteering.
What you need to know
We value our volunteers and look to fully support you during your time with us. When you apply, we will set up a meeting so we can find out more about each other. We will ask about your interests, the time you are able to give and anything else we can do to support you. When you start volunteering, we will provide you with training to help you complete your role. During your time with us, you will be supported by a named volunteer, the Volunteer Coordinator, the Heritage Centre Manager and the Trustees. In exchange, we ask that you keep us updated with your availability and any changes to your ability to volunteer with us.
To volunteer with us, you need to be 16 or above. We have roles that provide regular volunteering and roles that can be more flexible. We are an inclusive organisation and provide support to ensure everyone who wants to, can volunteer in a safe environment.
If you would like to find out more, please get in touch!
