We are delighted to announce a new partnership between the Crewe Heritage Centre and local band Crewe Brass/ Crewe Brass are fantastic volunteers tan organisation who originally formed as South Cheshire Young Brass, the band were lucky enough to secure sponsorship from the Co-op which supported them as they developed from a youth band through to the fabulous band you see today.

Currently competing in the Second Section of the North West area, Crewe Brass is well known throughout the South Cheshire area and beyond, regularly performing in concerts and events, from welcoming the new Mayor of Crewe with a special fanfare to spreading their own brand of Christmas cheer throughout Crewe and other local towns.

The occasion was officially marked on Saturday 5th December 2020 at the Heritage Centre by Crewe Heritage Trust Chairman Gordon Heddon and Crewe Brass music director Matt Pithers.

We look forward to working with the band and are confident this partnership will benefit both the band and Heritage Centre for many years to come.

This mutually beneficial partnership with the Crewe Heritage Centre and Crewe Brass is a fantastic opportunity for both organisations. The space and flexibility of Crewe Heritage Centre offers us many options going forward. We hope to be able to host concerts as well as rehearse in what is a fantastic and currently underused venue. I for one am very excited for the evolution of Crewe Brass and this move is one of many exciting plans beginning to come to fruition.
