47192 (D1842) Moved to Crewe Diesel Depot
On Friday 29th January 2021, 47192 temporarily left the Crewe Heritage Centre for Crewe Diesel Depot.
An agreement has been reached between Crewe Heritage Trust and Locomotive Services Ltd for extensive bodywork repair and a full repaint.
Crewe Heritage Trust would like to extend their gratitude toward Locomotive Services Ltd for undertaking the move and the work.
The locomotive move which took place on Friday 29th January 2021 also saw the arrival of two ex-pretendolino MK 3 Coaches numbers 11007 & 12011 which have been secured for preservation by Crewe Diesel Group and will be based at Crewe Heritage Centre.
